When BergHOFF made its appearance on the market, we only had one cookware set. Against many people’s advice, founder Raf Vanthoor participated in an electronics fair in Moscow. With a tiny table somewhere in a hallway and while enduring mockery from his “competitors”, he signed his first contract. With hard work and great dedication, the brand BergHOFF continued to grow on an international level offering inspiring tools and innovative products.
With the mission to offer affordable design and quality to all, Raf Vanthoor established an in-company design and development department and made it the core of the company. With great enthusiasm, our team of designers, quality controllers and product managers take care of all production stages. From initial study to the product on the shelves, they spare no detail. This continuous pursuit for quality has resulted in numerous designs that have been rewarded with international awards and accolades.
We won a first award in 2006 in Belgium – our country of origin – but since then international design juries were equally enthusiastic about the aesthetics as well as about the functionality of our products.
BergHOFF RS has become synonymous with under promising and over delivering. From the amazing value in our offerings to the flawless execution of our roadshows and the worldwide opportunities we create for so many families, we always try to do better than promised… Our slogan “Yes, you’re right!” came out of the many instances where people never believed that we could pull off the impossible, the difficult or the complicated.
